
Tracey L. Kemble
Tracey L. Kemble serves as Head of Feature Development for Hidden Empire Films. She brings extensive experience across scripted television, feature film development, and premium unscripted programming.
Prior to joining Hidden Empire, Kemble worked at Jesse Collins Entertainment, where she served as Executive Vice President of Scripted Content. Before that, she was Senior Vice President of Development & Production at Royal Ties Productions, the production company of Reina and Regina King, where she oversaw the company’s first-look deal with Netflix for episodic television and feature films.
Kemble is also a former producer at BET Productions, where she supervised all stages of production — from pre-production through post — on the acclaimed documentary Through the Fire: The Legacy of President Barack Obama.
Earlier in her career, she served as Executive Vice President of The Samuelsson Group, owned by world-renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson. In this role, she produced, developed, and created the Cooking Channel series Savoring Harlem for Scripps Networks. She later collaborated with TV One to produce the special John Legend Live from the Red Rooster, working alongside award-winning director Ava DuVernay.
Based out of Hidden Empire’s Santa Monica headquarters, Kemble currently oversees the development of a robust feature slate that includes Freedom Ride, a biopic on the life of late Congressman John Lewis; the studio’s previously announced Blacula reboot; and an upcoming horror film franchise.
